Testimonial

Ray Garcia – Choreographer (Rent – Broadway)

Ray’s credits include Fernando on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, on Broadway as Angel in the Tony Award winning musical RENT, with Cathy Rigby in PETER PAN, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS with Val Kilmer and in DAMN YANKEES directed by Jason Alexander. Ray has toured with Gloria Estefan, Debbie Gibson, Jody Wately and Vanessa Williams. He can also be seen in the independent film NEVERLAND and the feature film RENT.

The thing I liked most about working at Universal Studios was the fact that I got to perform for thousands of people each day I worked. I got to sing and dance almost every day….not everyone gets to do that. Also, nothing prepares you to be a well-rounded performer like working in a theme park….it increases your ability and confidence to interact with people, which is a tool you’ll use inside of the audition room as well as in the rehearsal room.
