Universal Studios Hollywood's Annual "Day of Giving" is a great example of goodwill and compassion.
Employees from every department within the company participate in this day of giving back and teambuilding through a variety of projects coordinated with our Charitable and Community Partners, such as arts and crafts with the clients of Burbank Center for the Retarded; outfitting poverty-level children of LAUSD with new school clothes and uniforms, backpacks and toys through the Operation School Bell on Wheels Program; and building houses on behalf of Habitat for Humanity! Our employees find this experience to be amazing and impactful...one that provides memories to last a lifetime.
Simply put, the event further embodies our Company's philosophical approach to making a difference...giving is Universal.
The annual Universal Studios Charity Classic is the primary fundraiser for the Discover A Star Foundation.
Held in September of each year, Corporate Sponsors, vendors and employees join together for a fun day of golf, auctions, raffles and more fun...all while doing the right thing for our community!
To date, our fundraising efforts for this event alone have exceeded over $3.5 million dollars!
