Universal Studios Hollywood is looking for male actors to portray the Grinch from the film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”  We are looking for actors 5’10” – 6’1”, 140-180 lbs. Selected actors will be required to replicate the 2000 live-action movie version of the Grinch character.  Strong acting, comedic, and improvisational skills are necessary.  Actors will be required to wear a full costume including prosthetics and contact lenses.  Sides will be provided and a type out audition will apply.  Some movement will be required, so please dress accordingly. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.

The Grinch and Whoville Character Performers must be available for all rehearsals (roughly 12/10 – 12/18) and all performance dates (12/19 – 12/31).

Universal Studios Hollywood is looking for male and female actors and dancers to portray a variety of characters from the film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”  Also casting MALE and FEMALE STILT WALKERS to portray different characters from the film. Selected stilt-actors must be able to perform sets 5-6 times a day. Please bring the proper footwear to audition. Selected performers must be comfortable with scripted and improvisational acting.  All will be required to wear partial facial prosthetics.  Sides will be provided and dance/movement will be required, so please dress accordingly.  Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.  All ethnicities and body types are encouraged to attend.  Audition will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. for all and a type out audition will apply.

Looking for female dancers, intermediate to advanced skills, 5’5” and taller.  Also, female dancer, beginning to intermediate level, to play a 1950’s starlet type Mrs. Claus.  Cast performs a 5-minute dance routine outdoors, on concrete followed by a 30-minute meet and greet with guests, six times a day.  Type out audition will apply.  Please come prepared to move. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be available for all rehearsals (roughly 11/19 – 25) and all performance dates (11/27, 11/28, 11/29, 12/5, 12/6, 12/12, 12/13, 12/19, 12/20, 12/21, 12/22, 12/23, 12/24, 12/25, 12/26, 12/27, 12/28, 12/29, 12/30, 12/31).
