What you should know before auditioning for any entertainment role...

Singers

Prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo pop rock or blues song, unless indicated otherwise. You may need to bring an instrumental CD or tape, or sheet music arranged in your key. Please check the audition notice and/or hotline if an accompanist will be provided before deciding on sheet music. A dance callback and singing excerpts of the show may be required for selected candidates. Please check the Audition Schedule for the next singer audition.

Dancers

Be prepared to learn an intermediate to advanced dance routine. Dance /form-fitting clothing preferred. Please wear dance shoes or tennis shoes. Please check the Audition Schedule for the next dancer audition.

Actors

Prepare a one minute comedic or up beat monologue. Improv games, cold reading and a costume fitting may be required for selected candidates.

Cartoon Characters

A basic movement combination and type out audition will apply. A fitting may be required for selected candidates. Must be physically fit and not suffer from claustrophobia.

Atmosphere Dancers

An intermediate to advanced dance routine and type out audition will apply. Please come prepared to move. A fitting may be required for selected candidates.

Celebrity Look-a-likes

A type out audition will apply. Improv games, cold reading, and a costume and/or wig fitting of the character you are being considered for may be required for selected candidates.

Puppeteers

Please bring puppeteering material to the audition. Bring a headshot and resume and any puppeteering footage you may have.

Improv Actors

Please bring a one-minute comedic monologue. Improv games, cold reading and a costume fitting may be required for selected candidates.
