THEME PARK – Entry Level Jobs

We have a variety of hourly positions available for our Summer season. Positions include Food Stand Attendants, Retail Sales Clerks, Park Attendants (cleaning) and Guest Control. Candidates must be 16 years of age or older and should have as much open availability as possible at the time the application is submitted. This includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. FOOD STAND ATTENDANT – Restaurants & Carts

Position includes setting up and maintaining the front service line in our fast food restaurants or carts, assisting guests with their orders, packaging and serving all food items as requested, operating a cash register and making accurate change, processing both cash and credit card transactions and being responsible for proper storage of all food items at the close of business. LINE COOK

Do you have a background in professional cooking? If you answered yes, read-on! The Theme park cook position is responsible for food production, preparation, station setup, adherence to recipes, sanitation and ensuring a positive guest experience. Must have some prior work experience as a Cook, or enrollment in a Culinary program. Must be fully available to work any day of the week, mornings, afternoons, evenings and holidays. BAKER

Responsible for baking and pastry preparation for the Theme Park and Catering events with strict adherence to established receipts, sanitation and health codes. For more details, and to review the requirements for this job, please click on "Apply".

PREP COOK – PRODUCTION KITCHEN

Prepare and cook product using all methods of cooking including but not limited to; roasting, baking, sautéing, steaming, using established recipes, portions and methods prescribed by the Company. FIGURE FINISHER

The Figure Finisher is to support the daily operations of the department by safely operating, maintaining, and inspecting the ride systems employed in the theme park, as well as all of the show quality elements such as show characters, show effects, ride vehicles, and other duties assigned within the Technical Services Department at Universal Studios Hollywood ("USH").

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – TIME KEEPER

The Timekeeper Administrative Assistant, in the Technical Services department is primarily responsible for auditing/ reviewing of employee time records, tracking/ maintenance of attendance records, scheduling/PTO processing for all non-exempt/union employees through the TimeKeeper System.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – HYPHENATE

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of maintenance, installation, inspection and/or repair of buildings, structures and grounds owned and operated by Universal Studios Hollywood and throughout the park and other duties assigned within the Maintenance department. Hyphenate description: The position is primarily (approximately 85-90%) Maintenance Technician and secondary (approximately 10-15%) Driver.

CULINARY CAREER FAIR

ANIMATIONS TECHNICIAN

The Animations Technician supports the daily operations of the department by safely operating, maintaining, and inspecting the ride systems employed in the theme park, as well as all of the show quality elements such as show characters, show effects, ride vehicles, and other duties assigned within the Technical Services Department.

PLUMBER

The Plumber is responsible for all aspects of maintenance, installation, inspection and/or repair of the plumbing, gas and compressed air systems in buildings, structures and grounds owned and operated by Universal Studios Hollywood and throughout the park and other duties assigned within the Plumbing department.

SOUND STAGE MANAGER

Run pre-show checks. Presetting props and sound effects. Monitor show operation. Run sound for indoor/outdoor shows. Operate lighting and control systems. Ensure staff compliance w/policies & procedures. Maintain the condition of show sound and lighting equipment. LANDSCAPER/HORTICULTURIST- HYPHENATE

The Landscaper/Horticulturist is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance, inspection and/or repair of the grounds of property owned and operated by Universal Studios Hollywood and throughout the park and other duties assigned within the Landscaping department. NOTE: Hyphenate description: The position is primarily (approximately 85-90%) Landscaper/Horticulturist and secondary (approximately 10-15%) Driver.

NIGHT CLEANER

Responsible for thoroughly cleaning the interior of the park’s facilities, which includes restaurants/kitchens, attraction venues, break rooms, retail stores, restrooms, administrative and warehouse buildings.  To review the job description and requirements for this position, please click on "Apply".

CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs complex electro-mechanical equipment, programmable logic controllers and machinery.

TRAM GARAGE – SERVICE PERSON

The Body Person supports the daily operations of the Tram Garage by performing a variety of activities designed to repair (and paint) damaged body parts of the various USH Tram vehicles/fleet and watercraft.

CENTRAL VAULT CASHIER
