Universal Studios Hollywood prides itself on providing auxiliary aids and services to our guests with disabilities. Many rides, shows, attractions, escalators, and parking structures are designed to comfortably accommodate guests in a wheelchair or guests with other special needs. In addition, for a list of all attractions and their specific requirements, please consult the Rider's Guide.

  • With two weeks notice sign language interpreting services will be made available in Universal Studios Hollywood at no charge. To arrange for sign language interpreting services please contact Guest Relations at 1-800-UNIVERSAL or e-mail us at guestrelations@universal
    studioshollywood.com.
    Any cancellations made within 72 hours are subject to a fee.


  • In addition to sign language interpreting services, closed captioning and assistive listening devices can be made available for your visit. For guests with hearing impairments, Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf (TDDs) and TTY telephones are located at Guest Relations. Pay telephones with amplification devices are also located throughout the park. Please see the Rider's Guide at Guest Relations for more information.


  • For your enjoyment and convenience, Universal Studios
    Hollywood's shopping and dining facilities are designed
    to be wheelchair accessible. Also, our outdoor stage
    shows have areas reserved for guests with disabilities.
    These areas are clearly marked with the International
    Symbol of Accessibility. If you need access to these areas please notify the Universal Studios personnel at the venue who will
    assist you.


  • Service Animals are welcome in all of our restaurant and merchandise locations, attraction queues and most other locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. Additionally, there are specific entry/boarding requirements for each attraction to assist the service animal's owner in making an informed decision about their animal's safe admission. Please consult the listing for each ride and attraction in our Rider's Guide or our designated entrance signs for more information.


  • Due to the dramatic movement of the ride vehicles and certain special effects at Universal Studios Hollywood®, oxygen tanks are not permitted at the following locations: Jurassic Park River Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride, Backdraft, and the Studio Tour.

    For Water World, Shrek 4-D™ and Terminator 2-3D™ please find an attraction attendant for assistance.

Information for Pregnant Guests

We advise expectant mothers not to ride The Studio Tour, Jurassic Park© - The Ride, and Revenge of the MummySM

Pregnant guests should speak with a cast member at Backdraft, Shrek 4-D™ and Terminator 2: 3D™ prior to experiencing the attraction and they will be placed in special stationary seats.

Smoking Policy

For the comfort and safety of all Park guests and team members, smoking will be permitted in designated smoking areas only.

Please check the Park Map for eight designated smoking areas throughout the Park.

Foreign Language Tours

We offer Spanish-language Studio Tours every day! Please visit Guest Relations for times. Other languages are available upon request and must be booked in advance through the Group Sales department.

Located just outside the park to the right of the main gate.

KENNEL SERVICE
Universal Studios Hollywood provides a complimentary Kennel Service for our park guests. Visit the Will Call window at the park entrance, and your pet will be escorted by one of our Guest Service Representatives to our facility. For more information and exact operating hours in advance: 1-800-UNIVERSAL.
GROUP SALES WINDOW
Located just outside the park to the left of the main gate.

Services include:
Renewing Annual Passes
Replacing lost Annual Passes
Exchanging travel company vouchers.
ANNUAL PASS CENTER
Located just outside the park to the left of the main gate. Please proceed here before entering the park if you purchased your Annual Pass offsite or online.

Services include:

  2. Replacing lost Annual Passes
  3. Redeeming Annual Pass offers, coupons, and guest discounts
  4. Upgrading or purchasing new products, including All You Can Eat Pass and Front of Line Pass
GUEST RELATIONS
Find your supporting cast located inside the park to the right of the main entrance.

Services include:
Visitor information (hotels, campsites, points of interest)
Guides for guests with disabilities
Audio assist units, and TDD phones for the hearing impaired

General park information and assistance. We're here to help!
LOST & FOUND
Our Lost and Found department is located at Guest Relations, near the entrance to the park. Guests inquiring about a lost item should contact Guest Relations at 1-818-622-3522.
HOLLYWOOD TICKET OUTLET
Located near the Blues Brothers stage. Services include: Upgrade park tickets, foreign currency exchange, visitor information (local area attractions and trip planning).

Exclusive seating to the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check at the Hollywood Ticket Outlet (inside the park) for availability. All tickets are subject to availability; a maximum of two priority tickets will be available per person, and guests must be 16 years or older to attend.
STROLLERS AND WHEELCHAIRS
Rentals are located in the Upper Lot. Stroller check-ins are located in two convenient spots; at the Backlot Tram Tour and in the Lower Lot near the base of the Starway.
LOCKERS
Store all the day's extras in one of our convenient lockers. You'll be glad you did! Lockers accept both cash and credit cards.
ATM MACHINES
Quick and easy cash machines are located at the main entrance to the right of the ticket booths and in the Lower Lot near the Jurassic Cove Café.
TRAVELER'S CHECKS / CREDIT CARDS
Accepted at the ticket booths and gift shops with proper identification. Sorry, personal checks not accepted.

TV AUDIENCE BOOTH
Get star-struck at the filming of today's big TV hits! Free audience tickets are available to all our guests (when available).
FIRST AID
In the Upper Lot next to Hollywood Animal Actors. Also located in the Jurassic Park Visitors Center in the Lower Lot.
SECURITY
There are two security offices to serve you; in the Upper Lot near Nick Stuff, and in the Lower Lot in the Jurassic Park Visitors Center.

Universal Studios takes the safety and security of our guests and employees very seriously. Following 9/11, we implemented a program of heightened security precautions on all of our properties. We work closely with local and federal authorities who provide us with up-to-date briefings. The Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff's Department teams who work here at Universal are always on alert to assist us in the unlikely event of an emergency and are actively involved in our planning strategies. We are committed to maintaining an appropriate level of security under the current conditions.

ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION TO THE LOWER LOT AND UPPER LOT
Should you need it, we'll help you down from the top of the Starway in the Upper Lot and up from the bottom of the Starway in the Lower Lot.
PACKAGE DELIVERY SERVICE
Buy merchandise in the park and pick up your package before you leave. Located near the exit at Universal Film Co. Ask store cast members for details.
