Starting tonight Friday, September 14, get ready to have your Halloween turned Upside Down.
The much-anticipated Stranger Things maze is about to make its debut! After binge-watching the sci-fi thriller series, step into the terrifying phenomena around Hawkins, Indiana and brave them up close and in person.
We have a wish-list of iconic scenes, characters and environments we’re hoping to encounter along the way:
The carnivorous monster who warps between universes in the first season of “Stranger Things” will make for a terrifying addition.
Welcome to Hawkins
Some small-town iconography from this 80s-era Midwest locale would set the tone and make us feel welcome.
The Byers Christmas Lights
Poor Will’s just trying to get back home and this house feels anything but normal in his absence… Especially with the electrical interference from the Upside Down causing these lights to transfer messages from beyond!
The Hawkins Kids
Catching sight of adventurous best friends Will, Mike, Dustin or Lucas will give us a much-needed boost of courage!
The Hawkins National Laboratory
This strange, top-secret facility may look polished, but there’s some serious darkness found within.
Into The Woods
The woods of the Upside Down, with ghostly trees spitting strange and sinister spores in all directions, would make a pretty terrifying landscape to explore…and escape.
An appearance from this go-to breakfast will leave us hungry for more.
The mind-bending sequences from the perspective of the psychic characters tend to give us the chills… all the more reason to step into them this Halloween.
Hawkins Middle School’s Science Classroom
“Stranger Things” did a great job of capturing the unique frights of one of the scariest things in the world… middle school.
One of the best parts of “Stranger Things” is the way it makes you feel like a kid again, and the fearless heroes’ nostalgic bicycles always get us in the right gear.
