Frequently Asked Questions
You can register for the free IBCCES Accessibility Card (IAC) online at AccessibilityCard.org or via its free mobile app found either on the Apple and Google Play stores. We recommend you register for your IAC within 30 days of your visit to the park and at least 48 hours before your planned visit to Universal Orlando Resort. If you are unable to register in advance, you may contact a Universal Destinations and Experiences Guest Accessibility Team Member at (407) 817-8349 or visit any Guest Relations location at the theme parks for additional information.
The IAC requires the following information to register the person needing an attraction queue accommodation:
- Recent photograph of the cardholder for identification purposes
- Contact information for the cardholder or the parent/guardian/support person of the cardholder
- Contact information and statement from medical provider, government entity, or other entity related to accommodations requested
The IAC does not guarantee a specific queue accommodation at Universal Studios Hollywood. Once all requirements for IBCCES Individual Accessibility Card are met, a Universal Destinations & Experiences Guest Accessibility Team Member will contact the cardholder to discuss their request for an attraction queue accommodation prior to their park visit.
Once all requirements for an IAC are met, a Universal Destinations & Experiences Guest Accessibility Team Member will contact the cardholder to discuss their request for an attraction queue accommodation and, if applicable, set up their AAP in our Universal Studios Hollywood App. Note: An IAC does not guarantee a Guest will receive a specific queue accommodation. Guests who are unable to register in advance may contact the Universal Destinations & Experiences Guest Accessibility Team at (407) 817-8349 or visit Guest Relations at the park for additional information.
The Attractions Assistance Pass (AAP) is an accommodation offered for Guests whose disability prevents them from waiting for extended periods in an attraction queue environment. The AAP offers equal queue access to theme park attractions and is not to bypass other Guests waiting in the attraction queue. The AAP has been digitized for convenience and provides Guests with the ability to select their own digital return time.
The AAP is now integrated through the Universal Studios Hollywood App, giving Guests with a valid AAP the opportunity to receive their own return time using their mobile device.
Following a conversation with our Universal Destinations & Experiences Guest Accessibility Team, Guests whose disability prevents them from waiting for extended periods in an attraction queue environment may be issued an AAP. Please note that having an IAC does not guarantee specific attraction queue accommodations at Universal Studios Hollywood, including the AAP.
Guest can use their AAP via the Universal Studios Hollywood App at participating attractions at the park. Then they can use their AAP via the Universal Studios Hollywood App or a designated AAP wristband provided by Guest Relations. The use of an AAP may not be available during special events and is subject to change without notice.
Please note, if you do not see an attraction of your choice, you can speak to an Attractions Attendant at the front of that attraction for assistance.

Once it’s your return time, you can head to the attraction to have it validated by an Attractions Attendant. Note: For anyone in your party to enter the attraction using the return time, the AAP holder must be present and scan in first.
Physical AAPs are available for Guests who don't have access to a Universal Account, the Universal Studios Hollywood App, or who don't wish to use their AAP digitally. Guests will receive a physical AAP upon enrollment and will continue to present their AAP to an attraction greeter for a designated return time. Team Members will verify eligibility by scanning the Guest's park ticket and determine a return time for the Guest and their party. Upon returning, Guests can scan their park ticket for redemption.
QR codes generated for Guests and their Companion Party Members with an AAP return time can only be found on the AAP Holder's Universal Account in the Universal Studios Hollywood App, or in the case of a minor, the person managing their Universal Account.
Yes, AAP return times are available for participating shows. Guests will receive a return time that is 20 minutes before the next available showtime. Please note that AAP access may not be available for shows during special ticketed events.
Guests must contact Guest Relations to set up or update the Companion Party Members prior to selecting a return time.
If I'm planning to visit multiple days or am an Annual Pass Member, do I need to register for the IAC and AAP for every visit?
Your IAC is only valid for a year after you receive it but may be easily renewed through IBCCES. Please note that the IAC alone is not valid at the attractions inside Universal Studios Hollywood for an attraction queue accommodation.
