Annual / Season Passes
1. Do I have to make a reservation to visit the Park with my Annual or Season Pass?
At this time, reservations are not required. In the future we may require that you make a reservation in advance of each return visit, in addition to adhering to blockout calendar availability, specific to your Pass. Additional restrictions may apply, as set forth in the terms and conditions of your Pass. If and when we implement a reservation requirement, we will notify members in advance by email. Please keep your email address current in our records.
2. How do I check my blockout calendar?
Calendars for similar or same products may differ. Please follow the applicable instructions:
- For new purchases, please check the terms & conditions for each product.
- For current passes in the first year of use, please enter the website address listed on the back of your current Pass.
- For FlexPay members who have completed their first year and are now participating in our monthly renewal program, please either enter the website address listed on the back of your pass (if you have visited the Park and received your new monthly pass credential) or click on one of the following links depending on your pass type:
3. How do I upgrade my Annual/Season Pass?
Upgrades are available for most full paid Annual or Season Passes. Visit the Universal Box Office inside the Park to check eligibility and to upgrade. Tickets purchased with the monthly payment option, FlexPay, cannot be upgraded at this time.
4. How can I get into Universal Studios Hollywood if I come on a blockout date?
To come on a blockout date, you may upgrade to a higher level Annual Pass, available at any ticket booth. Based on availability. Restrictions may apply. Higher level Annual Passes may share the same blockout dates, so be sure to check before upgrading.
5. I lost my pass, how do I get a new one?
To replace your lost Annual or Season Pass, visit any ticket booth at Universal Studios Hollywood. Please have a valid photo ID with you.
6. Does my Annual or Season Pass include admission to Halloween Horror Nights?
- Platinum Annual Pass members will receive one (1) complimentary General Admission ticket (per valid Platinum Annual Pass) in the first year to Halloween Horror Nights. Select nights only. An advanced online reservation will be required to redeem the complimentary Halloween Horror Nights General Admission ticket. Reservation is subject to General Admission ticket capacity and will close when tickets sell out for specific event nights. Additional restrictions for Halloween Horror Nights General Admission ticket offer apply. For details, visit www.universalpassmember.com. After the first year of your pass, if you are on a monthly FlexPay membership, you will receive one complimentary General Admission ticket to attend each calendar year’s Halloween Horror Nights but your monthly membership must be valid on the date of visit.
- For all other passes, Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed special event, and an Annual or Season Pass alone does not grant admission to the event. However, there are Pass Member discounts to Halloween Horror Nights. For details, visit www.universalpassmember.com.
Note: The Platinum Pass Universal Express benefit does not apply to separately ticketed events, including Halloween Horror Nights.
7. I currently have an Annual or Season Pass, how do I renew?
FlexPay members will automatically renew at the end of the initial 12 months of their contract term and monthly thereafter. Please visit the FlexPay FAQs for details including information about how to cancel. For full paid Passes, please visit the Pass Member page for details.
8. When should I renew my Pass?
For full paid Passes, Pass renewal discount is available 30 days before and 60 days after Pass expiration date only. If you renew your Pass prior to your Pass expiration date, you need to retain your current Pass and use that Pass until it expires. The new Pass will be valid beginning the day after your current Pass expires. For Passes renewed after expiration, your Pass will be valid beginning on the date of your renewal transaction.
Annual Pass renewal discount is not available for purchases using FlexPay. If you’re already signed up with FlexPay, your Pass will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis with no long-term commitment after the 1st year. 9. Can I get express access to all the rides, attractions and seated show with my Annual or Season Pass?
Platinum Annual Pass Members receive one-time (per day after 3pm) express access to each ride, attraction, and seated show. Express access is a separate line with a shorter wait time. (Does not apply to food and retail locations or non-seated shows.) Platinum Pass Universal Express privileges are not valid for separately ticketed events including Halloween Horror Nights. For all other Pass Members and guests, you can upgrade in-Park to a Universal Express ticket for the day (subject to availability). Available for purchase at the Universal Box Office.

10. What are some of the Annual/Season Pass benefits and specials?
Pass Members receive exclusive offers, invitations and promotions, which vary by pass type. Please visit the Pass Member page for a full list of Annual/Season Pass Member benefits.
